Yes, it is possible to transfer your entry to someone else until 4pm on 29 January 2026. The process must be completed by both parties by this time. Charity, Business Challenge or gifted entries cannot be transferred. Please go back to the organisation that supplied your entry if you are unable to race.
To initiate the transfer, the Transferor must access their booking via the “Manage your registration” button in your confirmation email, select the transfer option, and follow the instructions to enter the Transferee’s full name and email address.
Once the transfer is confirmed by the Transferor, the Transferee will receive an email containing a unique link to complete their entry. The Transferee must use this link to complete their registration and pay the applicable administrative fee of £20 (their entry fee will be discounted to £0).
The original booking will only be cancelled, and the transfer completed, once the Transferee has fully completed the registration process and made any applicable payments.
Please note, no refund will be made to the original entrant, other than for additional items such as Merchandise or Park and Ride tickets that have not yet been issued. Please request the refund of these items via our contact form as this is not automatic.
If the transferee fails to complete their entry by 4pm on 29 January 2026, they will not be permitted to participate in the event.
Please do not simply give your race number to someone else without going through the official process. This could be dangerous. If they are taken ill we will have incorrect medical information which could jeopardise their treatment and we could contact the wrong emergency contact. It can also have a detrimental effect on the results. Anyone discovered to be running on someone else's number will be disqualified and both parties will be barred from future events.
